Trump confirms more federal agents deployed to Portland, Illinois amid recent ICE attacks

President Trump confirmed Saturday morning that he approved more federal troops to "protect war ravaged Portland," according a post on Truth Social.

This comes after Portland Mayor Keith Wilson said Friday night that there had been an increase in federal agents at the ICE facility in South Portland, raising the question whether President Donald Trump was following up on his recent threats to quell protests in the city with federal force.
