Trump said he would invoke insurrection act if ‘people were being killed’

President Donald Trump told reporters on Monday that he would use the insurrection act if federal courts continued to prevent him from deploying the National Guard to protect federal buildings and conduct law enforcement operations such as Chicago and Portland if ‘people were being killed.’
