Court permits Trump's troop deployment in Portland, pending further appeal

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of President Donald Trump, affirming that his deployment of the National Guard to Portland was lawful.

However, Trump is still barred from actually deploying those troops, at least for now.
