Hurricane Melissa makes landfall in Jamaica, Eastern Cuba, heading toward Bahamas and Bermuda next

Hurricane Melissa is now a category 2 storm and is currently sweeping across eastern Cuba, bringing damaging winds, torrential rain, and dangerous storm surge. The storm is moving northeast at 14 mph and is expected to accelerate in the coming days.
