New immigration enforcement operations planned, most likely in southern US states

Migrants facing fines of up to $1.8 million each for staying in the U.S. illegally filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration.

Over 21,500 migrants have received penalties of $998 per day to encourage them to leave the country, according to Fox News.

The migrants are arguing that the fines aren’t constitutional, as the immigrants were trying to comply with immigration law.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of two migrants in Massachusetts.
