Taxpayers face $20M bill from 'sue and settle' lawsuits since 2013, watchdog says

Legal fees paid to attorneys representing environmental advocacy groups in lawsuits against federal agencies have cost taxpayers over $20 million since 2013, according to Rachel O'Brien, deputy public policy editor at Open the Books.
