‘I was a heroin addict for 14 years’: RFK Jr. talks battle with addiction

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke Monday on a new initiative to address mental health and addiction.

While speaking, Kennedy touched on his own experiences battling with addiction.

“I was a heroin addict for 14 years, beginning in my early teens and I've been 43 years in recovery,” Kennedy said.
