FBI investigates former counterterrorism official Joe Kent for alleged leaks

The FBI is reportedly investigating whether former senior counterterrorism official Joe Kent improperly disclosed classified information.

The review reportedly began before Kent resigned Tuesday from his role as director of the National Counterterrorism Center. His resignation came amid his public opposition to U.S. military action against Iran, which he said he could not support in good conscience.
