Former Minnesota nonprofit leader sentenced to nearly 42 years in $250M fraud case

The former head of a Minnesota nonprofit convicted of fraudulently receiving $250 million in federal funds meant to feed underprivileged children was sentenced to 500 months -- or 41-and-a-half-years -- in prison.
