Medicaid fraud scheme where American citizens were used as 'LIVING PIGGY BANKS:' Task Force Chair

FTC and White House Fraud Task Force Chairman Andrew Ferguson detailed the human toll of healthcare fraud on American taxpayers on Tuesday.

Ferguson described a scheme where one nurse practitioner is accused of billing Medicaid for almost $1 billion in skin substitute allografts and performing the procedures on vulnerable elderly Americans.
