'AMERICA IS BACK!': Johnson calls US 'greatest nation' in Fourth of July message

GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson is encouraging Americans to celebrate Independence Day by reflecting on the nation's freedoms, achievements, and resilience.

"This is a great day, great week to be an American, to celebrate the greatest nation in the history of the world," Johnson said.

"America is back right now, and there's so many reasons to be excited and to celebrate with your family and friends," he added. "Celebrate freedom. Celebrate the great blessings we have to be in this country, the greatest on the planet. We've got challenges. We're working through those every day, but there is no reason not to celebrate. There is no reason to be depressed in any way.”
