Witness describes moment suspect lit incendiary device outside NYC federal building: FBI explains

A witness described the scene after an incendiary device exploded outside of a federal building housing the FBI, ICE and immigration services in New York City on Monday.

She said she saw the smoke after a guy walked in front of the building, throwing canisters and setting them on fire.

An FBI official said the Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the incident as an “anti-government attack.”
