Fraud-filled spending spree CAUGHT ON CAMERA: $34 million Medicaid fraud scheme

Police body camera video shows Arizona Attorney General investigators raiding the home of Thomas Heard, who was sentenced to two years in prison for a massive $34 million Medicaid fraud scheme.

Officials say Heard billed the state for addiction treatment services that were never provided, including claims tied to patients who were dead, incarcerated, or too young to receive treatment.

Inside, investigators found 40 vehicles, designer bags, expensive shoes and Rolex watches, all part of what the AG called a fraud-fueled spending spree on the taxpayers’ dime.
