Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh says AI could reshape the economy and create new questions for monetary policy.

Warsh said the Fed is examining whether AI will drive lasting productivity gains, how it could affect jobs and wages, and where the technology’s economic benefits will ultimately flow. A new Fed task force on productivity and jobs will study those questions to help prepare policymakers for future challenges.
