New report alleges FBI kept door open to REVIVE CRIMINAL ELECTION CASE against Trump

When it appeared most of President Trump’s legal troubles were fading into the background, new reporting suggests one of the most politically charged investigations of his presidency may not be fully closed after all.

Documents obtained by Just the News appear to show the FBI issued a “preservation order” allowing evidence gathered during Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into President Trump’s alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election to be retained until 2030 — even after the criminal case was dismissed. The order, which cites ongoing litigation, has fueled new allegations from Republicans that federal investigators are keeping the option open to revive the case after President Trump leaves office.
