Florida is known for lightning and heavy rain, not so much large and damaging hail. In one location, a school's courtyard got covered in it. But that's what happened yesterday and more storms like that are possible today. Texas, also, got some muchneeded rain but it came with severe weather. Spring floods are affecting Utah and the length of much of the Mississippi River. After shattering their drought in the past few months, now California has to deal with an onslaught of mosquitos! These stories and much more on today's broadcast of The National Weather Desk.
