"We took a day trip out on #ResurrectionBay at #Kenai #Fjords State Park in #Seward #Alaska yesterday. The past week, we have had some out of character thunderstorms and the wildlife seemed to have hid the last week. Yesterday the winds shifted around 1pm and we saw both resident and transient orcas, dalls porpoises, sea mountain goats, humpback whales, hundreds of sea lions, sea otters and their babies, puffins and the second largest whale in the world a fin whale! This southern girl was over the moon taking all of this in!!!!
Now in the video, we were heading out of the Gulf of Alaska and back to port when we saw the Momma humpback breaching and the baby behind her. So we stopped. These two played for entire 10 we stayed! They are magnificent! The first breach you see is the calf; the second is the cow! Enjoy!”
