Can you believe it? Trump is demolishing a big chunk of the White House, much as he's been tearing apart government agencies, trampling all over Congress, and smashing the pillars of our democracy.

How did this happen? Answer: the FRACTURING OF AMERICA.

Well before Trump, our government was no longer working the way we learned in high school. Power shifted to the Presidency during the Depression and the Cold War. Congress became dysfunctional, crippled by. chaos politics and hyper-partisan warfare.

Gaping new economic inequalities destroyed the widely shared prosperity of 50 years ago, and drove a poisonous wedge into our society. We became Two Americas - The working middle class stuck in a rut , while the fortunes of the 1% were soaring.

Trump exploited populist anger at the grass roots., and he'lll keep doing it until enough people wake up and see that Trump is actually making economic inequality much worse – hurting corn and soybean farmers, mainstream workers being laid off people by firms squeezed by Trump tariffs -- Amazon, UPS, Intel, Target, General Motors and more,, as well as ens of milllions who need Medicaid and Obamacare or who are working two jobs and depending on safety net programs to keep them afloat.
