If an agency communicates “costumes, dancing, and performative nonsense” instead of professionalism, fitness, and readiness, it sends an unmistakable signal to criminals, to potential recruits, and to the public. The mission isn’t being taken seriously by the sitting Sheriff. In a city besieged with violent crime, drugs, and chronic disorder, that message is professionally irresponsible operationally dangerous.

Chris’s critique is blunt for a reason. “Protect and serve” is not a brand exercise—it is a sacred duty that demands competence, conditioning, discipline, and command presence. When leadership tolerates, and actually leads, a clownish presentation, it normalizes mediocrity and degrades credibility across the entire law enforcement community. This video is a call for a reset: higher hiring standards, real training culture, physical readiness, and leaders willing to rebuild professionalism—fast—before the public loses trust completely.
