10:02Now PlayingMinneapolis just saw another ICE-related shooting—and maybe it’s time for DHS and the administration to take a strategic pause. This isn’t just “another incident.” It’s the product of a collision of enforcement operations, organized agitation, failed state government leadership, permissive local police, and nonstop camera-driven escalation.
In this discussion, retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent, Chris Piehota, briefly walks through what’s happening on the ground: ICE operations being impeded, officers being injured, civilians being injured and, in a couple of instances, exposed to deadly force, and federal law enforcement operating in an environment where parts of local government appear to tolerate obstruction. The result is a volatile social pressure cooker—bad for civilians, bad for officers, and disastrous for public trust.
Chris shares an excerpt from a November 2024 conversation with host Andy Stumpf (business professional and former US Navy SEAL) on his Cleared Hot podcast (). During the discussion, some of the current the logistical and optics problems were foreseeable even thencrowding of ICE operations, public filming, political maneuvering and riskaversion, and the harsh reality of limited, experienced manpower. Please excuse the short loss of video footage during the excerpt that happened in Andy's studio (he blamed his producer, Michael) and I cannot fix it the audio coverage is complete and the video returns. What is unfolding now looks largely like the debacle that was predicted. Bottom lineWe must enforce the law professionally, restore discipline in public behavior, and stop letting ideology and “optics warfare” drive streetlevel outcomes.

Channel Approach: The world does not have to suck, but there are some things we should talk about without hating each other or purposely seeking conflict. Things such as current events, standing social issues, and areas of lingering concern that are of interest to many people. Are you tired of "overly-scripted", highly "curated", and "conflict-based" content that has become the norm? Are you exhausted with content that looks like contrived takeoffs of the failed mainstream media? I am. So, I hope you will forgive me for a less generic, over-produced approach where ideas can be shared in a more informal fashion about what is going on for the ordinary people of the world. For the sake of real talk, minor recording mistakes will be included in this content.
