0:13Now PlayingMy wife caught this clip of a deer wading into a small body of water and thought that the deer was enjoying itself. While she was filming, a park ranger came by and told my wife that the deer would likely be deceased by the end of the next day. He explained that the deer, when sick with fever, will wade into the water to try to cool their bodies down, but by then it is often too late for them. What my wife thought was fun for this deer ended up being a last gasp for life. Sad.
