First, Bilbrey talks about "missing the boat" when it comes to an interview with Jon Reed (Former Chief of the Winchester Police Department). Chief Reed was attempting to come on during episode #022 (which aired on 09.04.23) to clear the air about what Louis Galligan & Mayor Bob McCoy were saying... Bilbrey wasn't able to fit him in during #022... but planned to bring him on at the start of this show. However, after 24 hours... Chief Reed thought it might be best, just to let it go... and 'The Political Spotlight' team agrees! We wish Chief Reed the very best & he is welcome here on the program anytime!
From there, Bilbrey looks at Muncie, Indiana Mayor Dan Ridenour's decision to spend $45,000 in Economic Development money to bring the 70's Singer/Songwriter, Don McLean, to Muncie for a few songs! Mayor Dan took some heat for this... but he claimed it was a sound Economic Development deal! Well, now that the dust has settled... was it a good Economic Development deal?
Then, Bilbrey asks why, all the sudden has a Delaware County, Indiana Republican "FAVORITE" become "persona non grata"??? Bilbrey asks why the Delaware County, Indiana GOP are all now "eating their own?"
And lastly, Bilbrey has an update on his "First Amendment Lawsuit against Henry County, Indiana Sheriff John M. Sproles.
