#032 | Correcting Sheriff Sproles’ LIES! | The Political Spotlight

w/Special Guest: Elvante Riddick!

Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey welcomes special guest, Elvante Riddick, to the show! Riddick is the young man that Henry County, Indiana Sheriff John Sproles pulled over ILLEGALLY... on Sunday, July 2nd, 2023... for the simple "infraction" of "not having a license plate on the vehicle!" The Sheriff was OFF DUTY when he made the stop: he was driving an UNMARKED POLICE VEHICLE... & the Sheriff was NOT IN UNIFORM... matter of fact, he was wearing a black tee shirt & black gym shorts! The Sheriff called for an ON DUTY, New Castle Police Officer that was in a fully marked police car & wearing full uniform. However, as the Body Camera shows... the Sheriff had already made the stop, made contact with the driver (Riddick) and had Riddick OUT OF HIS CAR when the on duty, uniformed Officer got to the scene!

Riddick had just recently bought the car from an individual and had not been able to properly plate the vehicle yet. However, as THE VIEWER KNOWS... that was not the reason Sheriff Sproles pulled Riddick over...

The Sheriff has been on a witch hunt when it comes to the small town police and those attempting to get on those small town departments... Sheriff Sproles also has shown a history of being rude and out of line with people of color... and of course, Riddick happens to be a black man!

The Sheriff was WILDLY outrageous on this traffic stop... going as far as later accusing Riddick or someone that he knows of being a "GANG MEMBER"... the Sheriff has said one of them had a felony and he said on scene that Riddick had been arrested for "Impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer.

So since Sheriff Sproles has such a HARD time with the truth... the team thought it would be best to have Riddick come on and correct the record!
