The Public Works Committee of the Muncie Common Council 'Standing Committees' will hold a public meeting at 6:00p on October 23, 2023 in the City Hall Auditorium... regarding RESOLUTION #17-23.
The Public Works Committee consists of Chairperson, Councilor Ro Selvey and fellow Members: Councilors Aaron Clark & Roger Overbey.
The Committee is saying they will "allow" Public Comments of up to two (2) minutes... BUT Bilbrey thinks that a load of BULL... and we'll see how that goes!
RESOLUTION #17-23 relates to the City of Muncie paying nearly 9 million dollars for a BOT agreement for the construction of ONE Firehouse (out of 7) in the City. The Resolution was tabled by a 5-4 vote to gather further information... the title of the Resolution reads as follows: (RES 17-23) AUTHORIZING THE ENTRY BY THE CITY OF MUNCIE INTO A B.O.T. AGREEMENT AND RELATED DOCUMENTS AND TAKING CERTAIN OTHER ACTIONS RELATED THERETO. . .
