JUST WAIT TILL YOU HEAR WHAT IS PRESENTED IN THIS 80th EPISODE! YOU WILL FALL OVER... YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS EPISODE!
If you have been paying even the slightest bit of attention to what has been unfolding with the old "Workman's Bar" property, at 809 W. 8th St. in Muncie, Indiana... then you are aware it has been a complete "GOMM!" Hell, this fiasco, alone, should have been reason enough to not re-elect Ridenour as Mayor... yet, here we all are!
So, for the last year (December 2022 through November 2023), what has the City of Muncie been spending tax payer dollars on, in connection with "SUBSTANCE ABUSE & BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TREATMENT"?
The citizens of Muncie were told it was going to be a 14 bead, 23 hour, "Crisis Center", for those dealing with substance abuse issues &/or other behavioral &/or mental health related issues.
It was supposed to have opened in October 2023... SO WHAT HAPPENED?
The City is just now taking bids to find a company to tear the OLD building down and build a NEW one back. How much will that cost? And just how much has the City paid out so far?
HOW MUCH???
(FYI, it might be a good idea to bring along a pen & paper when you listen to this episode, and maybe a calculator!)
And for the love of God... SOMEONE FROM THE CITY OF MUNCIE... IS GOING TO HAVE TO START ANSWERING QUESTIONS AGAIN! It just makes you guys look bad to hide... but whatever, it's coming out one way or another!
