as posted by the channelThe Muncie, Indiana City Council's "Public Works Committee" held a meeting on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024... the only problem is...
NO ONE KNEW ABOUT IT!
Why? What was the purpose of the meeting?
To discuss appropriations in the amount of $8.7 MILLION DOLLARS for the construction of a new fire station... which, has already been an extremely controversial topic for the past 6 months, due in large part to the fact that the Mayor's Administration has not been very transparent about the project... and the communication has been nearly nonexistent!
On top of that... the first "Public Works Committee" meeting held back in October of 2023 was not LIVE STREAMED... which caused many citizens to be upset! Then, during the last City Council meeting, in April 2024... the project was discussed and the Council took action voting on various aspects of the project... the only problem... THAT COUNCIL MEETING WAS NOT LIVE STREAMED EITHER!
Now, we come to this most recent "Public Works Committee" meeting... which the citizens have been demanding since the first was in October of 2023... and not only was the meeting not LIVE STREAMED... BUT NO ONE KNEW ABOUT IT!
So, you can bet this will be a MAJOR TOPIC of discussion for Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey, during this 188th episode! DO... NOT... MISS... THIS... ONE!
