Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey breaks it down here in this 291st episode of 'The Political Spotlight.'
The Muncie, Indiana City Council announced the dates and times for the upcoming Finance Committee Meetings. During these four meetings, the Council will meet with the various Department Heads of the City of Muncie to work out a version of the 2025 Budget that the Council should be able to pass during a Special Council Meeting they have set for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024. (Time will tell!) Many questions surround the city's financial health and what it will be like in the new year.
The Finance Committee Meetings are open to the public and will be live-streamed here at The Political Spotlight. Three different links have been created for those interested in clicking to watch each meeting LIVE or via replay. The meeting dates and times are as follows:

To wrap up, Bilbrey goes over some emails from the City of Muncie, and there might finally be some good news regarding a record request or two.
