as posted by the channelDuring a Madison County Council Meeting in (the City of Anderson, Madison County, Indiana) on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Council President Ben Gale was acting wildly out of control. He is an outgoing Councilor who has been acting increasingly hostile to the county's citizens for the last year.
The Council consists of seven elected officials: four District Councilors and three At-Large Councilors. Currently, all seven Councilors are Republicans!
Five of the Councilors bow down to Council President Ben Gale and follow his lead. However, one Councilor, Bethany Keller, is a true "public servant."
During this meeting, Councilor Keller made a motion to attempt to remove Councilor Gale as President because he was wildly out of control! Unfortunately, none of her fellow Councilors would give the motion a "second"; therefore, it failed!
However, it speaks volumes that she would even attempt to stand toe to toe with Councilor Gale!
