However, most people aren't paying attention since it's so close to the end of the year and happens between Christmas and New Year's Eve and Day!
That is why Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey is covering both of these "happenings" in this 357th episode of The Political Spotlight.'
First, just as Producer Kate predicted last week, Dustin Clark is collecting a nice chunk of change from the City of Muncie right here two days after Christmas — just as he has every year he has worked for Muncie Mayor Dan Ridenour! But why? For what work? What Services? Bilbrey discusses everything currently known and discusses his plans to dig even deeper!
Next, Bilbrey looks at the upcoming Delaware County Commissioner's Meeting scheduled for Monday, December 30, 2024. This is a "Special Meeting" that the Commissioners are ONLY calling because they absolutely have to!
The Commissioners, led by Cowboi-Kid Shannon Henry, are fighting the County Council for the interest made from the "American Rescue Plan" money. The issue is that the Council has already budgeted that money to help pay for the County employees in 2025.
Common sense says the money belongs in the general fund, with the Council having the final say. However, the Commissioners and their attorney think otherwise!
The one thing guaranteed is that this will be a fight to the end! The Commissioners' "Special Meeting" will be held @ 9a (ET) Monday, December 30, 2024. 'The Political Spotlight' will LIVE Stream that meeting and provide commentary during the LIVE episode later that evening!
But for now, this episode will examine these two issues and anything else that arises. You do not want to miss any of it!
