YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIndiana's Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith appeared on The Kendall & Casey Show on 93.1 wibc on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, to discuss two separate items.
Topic #1:
First up, Host Rob Kendall stated that Beckwith had "got in trouble" with the powers that be in the Indiana State Senate for recording video in the PUBLIC SECTION of the State House, where the public can sit and watch the goings-on of the State Senate! EVEN THOUGH... as Lt. Gov, he is the PRESIDENT OF THE STATE SENATE!
Beckwith confirmed that to be true, and he rightfully said it was a dumb rule. But, apparently, he did get "a talking to," all because he wanted a bit of "transparency" in the State Senate!
That then brings us to Topic #2:
Host Casey Daniels mentioned a "Townhall Forum" that would be held Tuesday evening, March 25, 2025, in Hamilton County, Indiana. The event was going to be held at Beckwith's church, and it was sponsored and put on, in part, by the Hamilton County, Indiana Republican Party.
Beckwith said he would be there, along with State Treasurer Daniel Elliot, State Comptroller Elise Nieshalla, and Secretary of State Diego Morales. Beckwith also reported that Hamilton County GOP Chairman Mario Massillamany would emcee the event.
Kendall then broke in, asking if Secretary of State Diego Morales would be there and answering questions. He has been MIA in the last couple of weeks, and there is a lot of interest in determining where he has been and what he has been doing. Morales has some serious explaining to do.
Kendall then asked Beckwith to ask Morales the questions many people want answers to. At that point, Beckwith said he didn't think the church would allow video recording at the event. Kendall and Casey then laughed, playing the comment as a joke. Neither Kendall nor Casey pushed him for any follow-up.
The event then came and went...
And on THIS side of the event, we are unaware of ANY recording of the event!
WHY??? Why would Beckwith push for transparency when it scores him points? But then HIDE from transparency when it would make him and his friends look bad!
Well?
