YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe City of Muncie, Indiana's Redevelopment Commission met on Thursday, July 17, 2025. During the meeting, Jeff Howe, Director of the Muncie Redevelopment Commission, commented on a "project in the (Ball State University) village having stalled..." He mentioned that it might restart, but he wasn't sure. He even suggested that it MIGHT NOT GET FINISHED!
He then moved on, offering no further commentary on that comment! Which was shocking because there are currently a couple of really BIG and important projects underway or about to start in the Ball State University area, and all of these projects are multimillion-dollar endeavors. So the news that one of them has possibly "stalled out... and might not get back up and running" is REALLY BIG NEWS!
Director Howe then offered some additional comments about other projects in the City of Muncie. However, he didn't share any specific details about the topics he discussed.
Therefore, when Muncie citizen Charlize Jamieson spoke during the public comment portion of the meeting, there were still a few questions that had not been answered! Jamieson asked three specific questions that should have been easy to answer; however, instead of being a "PUBLIC SERVANT," Director Howe chose to be snarky and rude!
Director Howe's decision to respond as he did aligns perfectly with how most of the Muncie Redevelopment Commission typically handle matters, especially when it involves a citizen or questions and attempts to hold the Commission and the City of Muncie accountable.
Then, toward the end of this short video, one of the Commission members, Andrew Dale, offered some good advice, and Director Howe again chose to respond in the rudest way possible!
Proving once again that the Muncie Redevelopment Commission, as part of Muncie Mayor Dan Ridenour's administration, is not focused on improving communication, transparency, or accountability! It is unacceptable how Director Howe and the majority of the MRC board conduct themselves!
Bottom line, Muncie’s Redevelopment Commission Director, Jeff Howe, is an A**HOLE!
