Pearl reacts live with Doug MPA to her latest church street interview, where she visited St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Texas and asked parishioners one simple question: Should Christian women obey their husbands? What started as a straightforward street interview turned into something else entirely when church staff called the police on Pearl for holding a sign with the word "obey" on a public sidewalk.
Pearl breaks down every response she got β the "charged question" deflections, the partnership cope, the husbands looking at their wives before answering β and makes the case that what she witnessed outside that church is exactly what she grew up seeing her whole life. Doug adds his take on why letting people talk is always more revealing than arguing with them, and why the reactions from church staff said more than any answer ever could.
If the church is supposed to be teaching biblical hierarchy, why does the word "obey" get the cops called? Pearl isn't done. She's going back.
