Dave Rubin of the Rubin Report has had what he calls a philosophical and political 'awakening', and we are here to expose his funding and partnership with the koch brothers' libertarian think tank which he presumably is paid from.
Let me explainDave Rubin made a partnership with Learn Liberty back in 2016, read here
Learn Liberty is a project of Institute For Humane Studies (IHS), quoting from the Learn Liberty "About Us" page"Learn Liberty is a project of the Institute for Humane Studies (IHS)." Read Here
What is the Institute For Humane Studies (IHS)? Well, according to wikipedia"The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) is a libertarian[1][5] nonprofit organization that engages with students and professors throughout the United States." Read here
I wonder why Dave Rubin started calling himself a classical liberal!
Lastly, who is funding the IHS, who funds Learn Liberty? Well, according to wikipedia: "The institute's board of directors includes Charles G. Koch, Brian Hooks, Tyler Cowen, Art Pope, David Humphreys, Scott Beaulier, Christopher Coyne, Todd Zywicki, Kristina Kendall, Ryan Stowers, and Chris Rufer." "IHS has received funding from a number of foundations, including the Sarah Scaife Foundation, the John Templeton Foundation, the F.M. Kirby Foundation, the Marcus Foundation, the John William Pope Foundation, the Ed Uihlein Family Foundation, the Ralph Smeed Private Memorial Foundation, the Koch Family Foundations, the Searle Freedom Trust, the E.L. Craig Foundation, and the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation." "In March 2012, in the midst of a legal dispute between Charles Koch and the Cato Institute that caused renewed scrutiny of Koch's political philanthropy, IHS's chief financial officer told the New York Times that Koch is "a longtime and generous supporter of ours, but we’re not involved as a political organization."[32] Charles Koch donated a total of $12.4 million to the organization from 2008 to 2012.[33] The John William Pope Foundation has donated $2.1 million to the Institute since 1986."
