The worry that experts have about the Omicron variant is that it will overwhelm hospitals. But who will overwhelm them? It seems they are saying it will be unvaccinated peoples. So why should everything shut down, especially in high vaxx areas like Cornell University, for the sniffles? Why should responsible people who are fully vaccinated have to subsidize the poor behavior of unvaccinated peoples who come down with Omicron and flood hospitals?
“For the unvaccinated, you’re looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm,” Jeff Zients, the White House coronavirus coordinator, said at a news conference Friday.
