The half-billionaire boxer Floyd Mayweather explained on the Gillie and Wallo podcast that his first one hundred thousand dollar check felt better than the first fifty million dollar check. The hosts seemed to be shocked that he didn't really feel anything from it, but Floyd's comments go to show you that money only buys happiness to a certain point. Once you have enough money to live life comfortably, in the U.S. that's usually between $60-100K per year, sometimes more depending on where you live. After that money doesn't buy you happiness. This is why people should strive to live comfortably instead of wasting their lives just stacking dollars. Hopefully we can change the mindset of live to work in the United States to work to live.
