What Has Happened To Kyle Kulinski?.....

Kyle Kulinski of Secular Talk has seemingly taken a more centrist direction turn in terms of his news coverage, being praiseful and not really criticizing Biden much for doing what progressives agree are "half-measures". To be clear, he's not a centrist, nor is his coverage centrist, it's just that his coverage & opinions of Joe Biden have taken a turn in the centrist direction. "Full measures" would be comprised of things like Medicare for all, free college, cancelling all student loan debt, ending all overseas wars. Joe Biden has only done what we call "half-measures", which are policies that don't fully go in the progressive direction, but stop short and are often middle of the road and are means-tested. An example being the $10k cancelled for people under a certain income level. This is a "half-measure". This still has some impact, but is nowhere even close to canceling all student loan debt, which is the "full measure" progressive policy position. Many Secular Talk fans seem to deny that the things Kyle is praising Biden for are "half-measures", which undebatably they are. Outside of pulling out of the Afghanistan War, which even that could hypothetically could be argued a "half-measure", but I'll let that one slide as a "full measure". The student debt cancellation of $10k for ONLY certain people and the former marijuana possession conviction pardons is even less than a "half-measure". I'd call it a "1/10th measure" LOL. Nobody is freed, and all it does is pardon former convictions for federal convictions (not that Biden can do anything at the state level, which is where basically all weed convictions are). The "full measure" would be legalizing marijuana fully, he didn't even free anyone currently in prison, he just pardoned former convictions. Now that we've established the things Kyle is praising are indeed factually "half-measures" based on a progressive viewpoint, that looks at "full measures" as medicare for all, free college, full student debt cancellation, ending wars, etc, we can move to our next point.

Now you can still support the "half-measure" while wanting the "full measure", but the problem here is that Kyle Kulinski of Secular Talk is not someone who ever praises these "half-measures", in fact, his entire career has been based on criticizing these "half-measures" from democrats like Obama & Clinton. So why is he now so praiseful of these same "half-measures"?

Some common hypotheses include:

1) Somehow his relationship with Krystal Ball (wtf?)

2) The bar was below the ground for Joe Biden, where as for Obama it was sky high (think "hope & change), so anything Joe Biden does is comparatively a surprise and better comparatively speaking to anything Obama or Clinton did.

3) People don't hate Biden as much as they do Clinton, Trump, & Obama. There's just not much to hate. He's just kind of a corpse that's there. He doesn't really do anything. This is what got him the dub in 2020, and the midterm rout in 2022. But it's also why his approval rating is straight cheeks right now. Gift & curse.

4) Republicans have become so insane and so blatantly fascist that he has been "radicalized" to the center to fend off the fascists trying to overthrow democracy.

In my opinion, hypothesis one is unfounded in any actual fact. Two and three on the other hand seem legitimate. Have any other ideas? Comment down below.
