A new poll released shows that Marianne Williamson is already clocking in at 10% compared to the 4% in a previous poll three weeks ago. THERE IS NO CHANCE MARIANNE WILLIAMSON WINS.
Now that we've got this out of the way, we can see that she is going to make serious waves in the primary, and I made a big mistake in my previous video analyzing this because I was thinking from the perspective of "will people vote FOR Marianne Williamson". This was a wrong perspective. What about "will people vote AGAINST Joe Biden?". Bernie had significant support in 2016 because he was the candidate against Hillary, the most unpopular candidate in history.
Polls consistently show large swaths of the democratic party want someone else as their nominee. This means that Williamson will see high support amongst people who are not in favor of Biden. She's ALREADY AT 10% in the polls. It's MARCH! Due to frontloading and her support she'll get from New Hampshire & Iowa as a backlash of Biden pushing South Carolina to the front, he will get a big boost. She's also a successful educated woman, which means that the democratic party can't be sexist against her like they were against Bernie Sanders. It will be a tough backdrop to vote in favor of an old white guy over a successful educated woman for many democratic voters, especially women.
Marianne Williamson's ceiling is around 35%. She will see gains from 10% for certain.
