as posted by the channelBREAKING: Kamala Harris SURGES To NEW HIGHS In BRAND NEW Florida Poll... (Is Florida Up For Grabs?)
Kamala Harris has officially surged to a new high against Donald Trump in a brand new poll that was released by Bullfinch Group, who released polls in the battleground states Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.
In the new poll, she has reached a new high of only being down 1 point against Donald Trump in the newly released poll, with the lowest prior poll being down 2 points, but that was not a head to head poll. In this head-to-head poll, Kamala Harris is only down 1 point.
After Trump's slanderous lies against Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, many democrats believe that Haitians who are living in Florida will be able to help make a difference, with over 500,000 of them living in the state. Despite the fact that most of their voter base likely already votes Democrat, voter turnout can be boosted which would require simply turning out voters to the polls instead of convincing anyone to switch sides. Although, it would presumably be possible for some conservative Haitians who are appalled by the blatant bigotry to change to vote Democrat. If you look at the cookpolitical website, if you simply turned up the bar of turnout from 66% to 72% for African American voters, you'd have a Biden 2020 North Carolina victory. Turnout is more than half the battle in elections.
In addition, the Florida Teamsters union just endorsed Harris as well, after the overall union decided foolishly not to endorse anyone. Can Kamala Harris make a surge, and potentially get closer than Biden did in 2020?
It appears many hispanic voters who did not come out to vote in 2016 came out to vote for Trump in 2020, how can Kamala keep those voters not to vote for him? That would severely bring the margins of his victory down, bringing her closer to victory.
While I don't think the state will flip, it still presents an important possibility of getting closer in a state that could be helpful for the future. We didn't see states like Georgia coming, so it's important to keep working and working.
