as posted by the channelKyle Kulinski fans expressed some disappointment at his referral to the Ukraine war as a "proxy war" that we are "still funding" from some fans who are otherwise progressive, but more pro-Ukraine than what Kyle and some other progressives are. When the Ukraine war broke out in 2022, there was a big disagreement amongst the progressive community, inside and amongst others who are more liberal, about whether or not to support Ukraine militarily.
Kyle Kulinski was against the war in Ukraine, but largely his coverage has turned more positive since Trump's election. This is likely due to Trump's anti-Ukraine stance. This is an important distinction, as we can recall Hasan Piker having a countdown for the Ukraine War certainly not happening, and how this creates a divide for the progressive left from others who are more pro-Ukraine who otherwise would be more identifying with the progressive movement.

@KyleKulinski. He understands that supporting Ukraine is a good thing. His heart is in the right place on most issues. Then I saw his last video where he mentioned that Ukraine is a US "proxy war" - it's not - and that the US is funding it - it stopped doing that since Trump and his gang came to power - and I'm reminded that most of the independent media on the left in the US are about as clueless regarding Ukraine as the MAGA media is."
Other fans expressed similar sentiment, either that they were disappointed, or that they didn't like him in the first place.
