YouTube Description
as posted by the channelA century and a half of debate over how drumlins form, and no consensus. John Shaw proposed subglacial floods moving massive water volumes beneath ice sheets, and the model fit the evidence. The objection wasn't that it was wrong - it was that the drumlin swarms are so huge they require more meltwater than critics were willing to accept. The formations exist. The only explanation that works requires catastrophic water volumes. Rejecting the model because the scale is uncomfortable isn't science - it's avoidance.
