Confidence is derived from options or the proven capacity to generate options.
Look at any woman's dating profile. There are a lot of common attributes women want in men, but confidence is always on the list. Many 'Success Porn' feel-good Gurus claim to have the key to digging deep in some esoteric well of confidence, but what really is 'confidence'? It's unconscious assurance that if you fail at one endeavor you're still okay because you have other irons in the fire. Most men don't ask for a raise until they've secured another job offer elsewhere – they know that if they're rejected they have the new job to buoy them.
The same is true with women. The man with options unconsciously manifest this knowledge in his behaviors. He's far more willing to experiment with failure because he's got other options. This is why Plate Theory is so imperative for a man to adopt as a dating strategy; it presents a man with actionable options. He's got nothing to lose because he's not invested in his one glorious chance with a girl.
Even if he doesn't have immediate options, a man who's experienced success and achievements understands that he is capable of generating more options. This benefits him with a confidence that derives from prior competence.
The margin of error with respect to confidence is much less for the man who is single rather than married. In marriage, by definitions that man has less options. Or does her?
Every married guy needs to ask himself an honest question if your wife left you today do you have options? Are there other women that would be knocking at the door? 90 to 95% of married guys would say no if they were honest, that other 5% are Red Pill aware.
Why is passive Dread so much easier to employ when you have real options? How does Plate Theory foster confidence? Why is confidence the new snake oil being sold in Success Porn today? How does women's imagination work with the confidence she perceives in you?
