Pop psychologist and internet "life coaches" love a good trope. One that's easy to remember, sounds right and is always hard to debate against. Next to "open communication solves everything" 'setting boundaries in your relationship' is a popular go-to.
Yes, boundaries in an LTR are important, but probably NOT for the reasons most people think. If your relationship is predicated on your Blue Pill ideals or you lack an acknowledged Frame, all the boundaries in the world wont mean a thing. Boundaries are only as beneficial as the person enforcing them.
A good relationship is effortless, not some constant project of trying to figure out how you or your spouse ought to be behaving all the time. In a relationship based on genuine desire boundaries are understood and respected because of a fear of actual significant loss should they be transgressed.
These boundary guys have it ass backwards. They are judging women by their words instead of judging them by their actions. Agreeing to a boundary is only her words that these guys think will keep her from cheating. A Woman who enforces her own boundaries is woman who understands what an exclusive relationship is. Those are her actions you judge her on. Not useless words she can go back on at any moment.
