Lawmakers are now pushing Virginia’s Law, named for Virginia Giuffre, to eliminate the statute of limitations on federal sex crimes.
Despite a request to King Charles III to meet with survivors, no response came.
But the message from survivors was unmistakable: they are still here and they are still fighting for accountability. The were joined by organizations that fight human trafficking and protect vulnerable young people like Amanda Roberts and Sky Roberts of SOAR, Sharlene Rochard, Activist (Epstein survivor), Megan Lundstrom CEO of Polaris Project, Yasmin Vafa, Executive Director, Rights4Girls Arisha Hatch, Executive Director, UltraViolet Lauren Hersh, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, World Without Exploitation Kim Villanueva, President of NOW, Mrinalini Chakraborty, Board Member of Women’s March and Sara Ziff, Founding Director, Model Alliance.
