The impact of electric vehicles is tough to understand. Between the government, environmentalists, manufacturers, and energy companies, it’s an all-out war to control the narrative of public perception.

Despite generous government subsidies and propaganda promoting EVs, Americans show a strong preference for gas-powered cars. The recent proposed vehicle emission standards by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) further restrict consumer choice, aiming for an average vehicle emitting only 73 grams of carbon dioxide per mile by 2032, a standard unattainable even by the most fuel-efficient hybrids on the market.

The rising cost of electric vehicles, particularly due to expensive batteries, has led to concerns about the affordability and longevity of these vehicles. The uncertainty regarding the lifespan of EV batteries, typically estimated at 8 to 10 years, raises questions about the practicality and cost-effectiveness of owning an electric vehicle, especially in the context of a potentially diminishing used car market.
