YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAmerica's beaches are not only one of the most beautiful sites in our country, but they also provide essential economic benefits. From the fishing industry to the tour industry, a large portion of coastal state economies are dependent on beaches. But over the last few decades, Americans have been building closer to the shore, privatizing beaches, and polluting areas to the point where they're no longer safe to swim or fish in. Ring of Fire's Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. talks with Rick Wilson, Coastal Management Coordinator for the Surfrider Foundation, who is working to correct these problems.
