7:10Now PlayingBack in 2005, when George W. Bush finally admitted the reality of man-made climate change, it was an embarrassment for the extreme fringe of the GOP. And it had to be extremely uncomfortable for all of the ‘letter-to-the-editor’ writers who use newspapers to tell us that global warming is a hoax.
But the worst was yet to come for conservatives. In October, the Department of Defense listed climate change as a top national security threat. And in all honesty, they’ve said that for the last eight years. Yet Republicans like Ted Cruz, James Inhofe, and Marco Rubio are all-in on the idea that we simply don’t have a problem here.
America’s Lawyer, Mike Papantonio, discusses this with Farron Cousins.
