Lauren Boebert has decided to double down on her praise of the Taliban after tweeting out quote, the Taliban are the only people building back better, which obviously build back better was one of the Biden campaign slogans and Boebert comes out and says, well, look, the Taliban's doing a better job than you, Joe. They're building back better. Now, before I get into her defense of that comment, let's examine the comment for what it is, right? If she is legitimately telling us the Taliban is building back better than she believes that Afghanistan is better under the leadership of the Taliban, that the people desperately thousands of thousands of individuals right now, desperately trying to flee the country. Is that building back better, Lauren? Because this was an idiotic statement no matter how you slice it. But folks don't worry, her defensive of it was even dumber. Here is what she said in defense of that disgusting comment. There's a difference between ending a war and running out of town.

Leftists don't like my building back better tweet because it's true. The Taliban has taken billions of dollars of American military equipment and will use it against us. This is what happens when our leader put Amer, leaders put America last. It's a travesty. In 2021 America has seen decline while the Taliban is on the rise. Thanks, Joe Biden. Um, what? This is a, that's actually what she told the daily caller when they asked her about, about the tweet and she says, well, you know, I mean, look at them. The Taliban is doing great today. And Joe Biden, right, everything is horrible because of him, you know, Afghanistan is solely his problem because he apparently also started the war. Is that what you're trying to get at, Lauren? No, the Taliban is in fact not building back better and anyone who says that clearly is taking the side of the terrorists at this point. That's what you're doing, Lauren. You've literally become what Republicans actually accused Democrats of being for several decades. Oh, you're the terrorist sympathizers.

No, I mean, you literally are sympathizing and actually applauding them with not just your tweet, but your defense of that tweet. We have absolutely entered topsy turvy world, ladies and gentlemen, and Lauren Boebert is the one at the steering wheel. I have to address another part of this. The Taliban's taken billions of dollars of American military equipment and will use it against us. That's true actually. But if you think that's bad, wait till you hear what Saudi Arabia has been doing for years and years and years. We sell them weapons. They turn around, sell weapons to the bad guys, who then turn around and use those weapons against us. That's actually fairly common in that area of the world. So we've been doing this for a very long time. Yes, it's terrifying that the Taliban has these weapons. They've got their hands on US biometric data. Yes, that is a horrible thing to happen. But maybe, maybe it's a wake-up call that we should stop sending billions of dollars worth of weapons and technology all over the globe every single year.

Maybe if we stopped exporting death, we'll stop experiencing as much of it overseas. I think that's a fairly, you know, easy concept to get into. We created these monsters. We typically do, going all the way back to Ronald Reagan.
