Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger appeared on Face the Nation this past weekend, where he took a shot at the Republicans in his party, that he still refuses to leave, who are fundraising off of the fears that their low information voters have about vaccine mandates. Here's what Kinzinger had to say. There are some Republican members of Congress putting out fundraising after fundraising email about first, it's going to be a vaccine mandate. Next thing the Gestapo is going to show up at your door and take your Bible away. That's not going to happen and that's playing on people's fear. I mean, we hear stories of people that are in, you know, every red, very red areas that are embarrassed to say they're vaccinated. That is insane and silly and that is a problem with leaders, particularly Republican leaders, that don't stand up and give cover to people and say, look, this is not what Republicanism or conservatism should be.

Adam Kinzinger you might be the only conservative in this country that still believes that there is something conservatives are supposed to be. Right. I think you're the only one left that thinks like, no don't we have a set of ideals and principles, no, you don't anymore. You really don't. And that's the problem. The Republican party has done moved on and left you behind. And you refuse to acknowledge that, publicly. See the problem is Kinzinger, folks, is still voting like nearly more than 90% of the time with his Republican party. And that's what drives me crazy about stories like this. Yes, Kinzinger is right to call out these Republicans using these idiotic vaccine mandate fears to fundraise. But at the end of the day, he's still voting with these same people. The people he's calling out and saying, you're betraying conservatism. Now, how are we going to vote on this piece of legislation here?

They fall in line with each other every single time. Kinzinger is no different than them other than what he is saying publicly. But what he says publicly doesn't matter. It truly doesn't matter. All that matters is how the man votes, because that's what actually affects us here in the United States. And Kinzinger's record is not one that he should be proud of. Right. What did he have, one good vote when he voted to impeach Trump? Oh, good for him. What have you done since then? Well, you don't want the infrastructure bill. You didn't vote to send stimulus checks to American people this year. You just against everything the Democrats are for. But you're still trying to carve yourself out a little niche of Democrats who might believe that you're actually some kind of clear-eyed moderate Republican when in reality, you're just as bad as the rest of them, except for what you say publicly.

You're not as crazy as Marjorie Taylor Greene. You're not as extreme as Matt Gaetz. But your voting record is, and that's what people need to start paying attention to. Kinzinger knows how to get people on his side. Don't get me wrong. He knows how to say the right things to appeal to that moderate middle in the United States. But when it comes to his voting record, he is just as conservative as those idiots that we have to go after every single day. There's really no difference between them other than Kinzinger makes it look acceptable. It isn't.
