YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn an apparent attempt to outdo Trump's stupidity about vaccines, former politician Mike Huckabee went on Fox News to declare that President Biden is somehow to blame for the vaccine hesitancy among Republicans because he allegedly "made science boring." This might be one of the dumbest comments Huckabee has made publicly in recent years, and that's really saying a lot. The only people to blame are the anti-vaxxers, and it just so happens that they seem to be concentrated mainly on the Right today. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Recently Donald Trump tried to tell us that it was Joe Biden's fault that Republicans didn't want to get the vaccine because, you know, one time Kamala Harris back when she was a candidate mentioned she doesn't know if she'd trust anything coming from Trump. And now, according to Trump, that's the reason Republicans don't want to get vaccinated. Well, not to be out done, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee went on Fox news this past week to prove that he is even dumber than Donald Trump. Oh, he still blames Joe Biden. It's just, his reason is even dumber than what Trump offered. Because again, hey, Trump, wasn't a hundred percent wrong. Kamala Harris did in fact say that and many other Democrats said it as well. Of course, that was a year ago and now it's Republicans who are casting doubt on it. So I don't believe his reasoning whatsoever. But here is what Huckabee had to say. Here's the thing. When my mother wanted me to eat spinach, she didn't try to tell me about the virtues of vitamin E.
She told me Popeye ate spinach and I'd be strong like he was. Joe Biden needs to tell us the benefits rather than scaring the daylights out of us, boring us to death with a bunch of stuff where he says, follow the science. He's boring us with science. We don't want to be bored. We want to be strong like Popeye, right? Could you be any more juvenile, Mike? Like, I don't care about your idiotic antidotes about how your mother got you to eat canned spinach that tastes like garbage anyway, I really don't care. I don't care that you're bored with science. The fact is you need to listen to it. Oh, and if you want to encourage people to get it, oh, like your mother did with the make you strong. How about we show more pictures of people in the hospital with, you know, tubes going down their throats because they're unable to breathe on their own? Huh? Do you think maybe that would, uh, be good? That's also, hey, following the science, right? That's medical science. Maybe we should show people how weak not getting the vaccine makes you. Maybe take a page out of your mother's book.
Tell them, hey, you take this vaccine. You'll be strong like Popeye. You don't take the vaccine, you're going to end up like all of these conservative anti-vaxxers who are dropping dead. Do you realize, folks, we had a day this week where we had three different stories, about three different prominent right-wingers, a pastor, a radio host and a prominent anti-vaxxer, same day drop dead from COVID after long fights with COVID, they didn't drop. But you know what I'm saying., Like all of these people out there trashing vaccines, trashing mask mandates, trashing everything, trashing Fauci. These people are dying because of their stupidity and their hubris. So I'm sorry, Mike Huckabee, if that bores you. I'm sorry that you don't like listening to the science. I'm sure if we could relate everything to a cartoon character maybe it'd be easier for you to understand. But unfortunately we can't do it at this point. I think Republicans need to start looking at their idols, looking at their role models, and then looking at how many of them have died in the last few months. Maybe that's the wake up call that they need.
