A new report has revealed that the ongoing COVID pandemic is far worse in counties that voted for Donald Trump than the counties that voted for Biden. In fact, the infection rate in Trump counties is actually THREE TIMES higher than those who voted for Biden. This isn't surprising considering the increasingly political polarization surrounding the pandemic, and these red counties are the ones ignoring most of the protocols and concurrent medical opinions. A new report out yesterday shows that Trump voting counties here in the United States are still seeing COVID rates surge and according to the numbers, they're actually seeing three times more new COVID infections than we're seeing in counties that voted for Joe Biden in 2020. This is not the first study that has shown this. We have known for many months now that COVID is worse in red areas than it is in blue areas and most of that comes in spite of the fact that many of these blue counties actually have higher populations than the red counties. So it would actually make more sense if the blue counties were in fact seeing triple the numbers, but it's the other way around. And there's a very easy explanation for this that we've talked about plenty of times, but it's worth rehashing because we're still in a pandemic.

And that is these red counties, these Trump supporting Republican counties, don't want to follow any of the protocols. They have lower vaccination rates. They have fewer mask mandates in place. They have fewer protections. They didn't shut down schools. And this is the very obvious and predictable result. I don't know how much more information we need. I don't know how many more times we have to get data like this for these individuals to wake up. Because I honestly don't think they're going to wake up at this point. We know that masks help reduce the transmission. We know that getting vaccinated helps protect you from getting seriously ill if you contract COVID. These are facts. The data proves this and the data has been proving this for months now. But it's these red counties that are mostly led by Republicans who are vaccinated, but they're out there telling their people, we're fighting for your freedom. You don't want to be muzzled.

You don't want schools to shut down, even though that's really not happening throughout the country. You want to be free. You want to live your lives. You're not going to live in fear. Go out there and do whatever you want and then, oh my God, why do we have COVID rates three times that of these counties that voted for Biden, this isn't rocket science, folks. We know why this is happening and it's because Republicans have this pig headed stubbornness where they don't want to protect other people. That's what all this comes down to. It's not just about themselves. It's about everyone else in that county. They simply do not care. The pro-life party really doesn't care if you live or die. So my question is what happens when we get to the midterms, right? I know Republicans are poised to make giant gains in the midterms, but is that even going to be possible when they've put so many of their own voters into an early grave? I guess we'll find out a year from now, but I don't think that's going to bode very well for the Republican party.
